What is Chemworld Fragrance Factory?

Chemworld Fragrance Factory is driven by its MISSION to assist entrepreneurs realize their dream of financial independence by providing high quality training, complete and affordable supplies, and continuing guidance in perfumery business.

It all started in 2004 as an advocacy to provide livelihood training through perfumery by Chemworld Marketing Corp. As a corporate division, Chemworld Fragrance Institute was then how it was called. In January 2009 came the decision to rebrand to Chemworld Fragrance Factory. The new name reflects the transformation of what started as a simple advocacy becoming the Philippines’ largest one-stop-shop in perfumery supplies.

Chemworld has been conducting Perfume Making seminar/workshops two to three times weekly, reaching some 1,000 participants every year. Chemworld is the leading training center in perfume making and the trusted name for complete, cost-effective perfumery supplies.

Veteran entrepreneurs, enterprising office workers and housewives, and enthusiastic youths are taught how to create high quality fine fragrances as good as or better than many expensive designer fragrances sold in department stores. They get step by step guidance, with our formulation experts providing continuous post-seminar consultation for FREE. The seminars go beyond teaching perfume making. They include discussions on street-smart marketing strategies based on actual experiences, defining market niche, costing, and pricing.

Today, we have been privileged to support thousands of successful entrepreneurs with complete supplies for their perfumery business. And their number is growing!

What about Chemworld Marketing Corp?

Chemworld Marketing Corp. is a chemical distribution company established in 1985 by chemist Fred C. Reyes, after a fruitful 9 years stint in manufacturing and technical sales with Du Pont and Union Carbide. In 1987, the company incorporated with the investment of Gerry Yazon, the former boss of Fred in Union Carbide.

Chemworld focused on distribution of specialty chemicals in the personal care and food industries. With its reputation as a reliable and trusted source of specialty ingredients, fragrances and flavors, Chemworld supplies most of the major multinational and local companies in the Philippines through the years.

It has a long history of bringing new and innovative product concepts. Chemworld has been involved in the development and launch of many successful products and brands through the years, including Godiva skin care. Its extensive library of formularies includes the latest breakthroughs in product development in Europe, USA, and Asia.

When and where do you hold perfume making seminar?

Chemworld offers half-day Perfume Making Seminar/Workshop for a minimal fee of P500, on the following days: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:30 – 5:00 p.m., Saturdays, 9:00 – 12:00 p.m. Sundays: 10:00a.m to 1:00p.m. Special training sessions for groups can be arranged. Fragrance Parties for special occasions can also be organized.

I live very far from Makati. Can I still get training in perfume making?

We have embedded a training video in our home page, www.chemworld.ph for those who will not be able to attend our seminar in Makati. With the Chemworld Perfume Making Manual and the continuing FREE consultation we offer to our regular clients, anyone will get the essential knowledge to start a highly profitable perfumery business.

Can I visit your main Makati store and place my order there?

Payment and pick-up of orders in our Makati store is the fastest way of getting your supplies. Store is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with shortened hours on Sundays and holidays, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For your convenience, you can place your order in advance by calling 895-4410 or by sending email to fragrancefactory@chemworld.ph.

Fragrance Factory now has a satellite branch in Festival Supermall Alabang. Located at the 2nd level, near the ATM Center, across covered parking, the new branch brings the income opportunity in perfume making closer to the entrepreneurs in the South. What kind of fragrances do you supply?

Starting in perfumery business is made much easier with the availability of 30-ml packing of high quality fragrance oils inspired by the best selling perfumes in the world. More economical pack size of 125-ml, 250-ml, 500-ml are also available. Our fragrance oils are guaranteed of world class quality and are not diluted.

Other ingredients being supplied by Chemworld are essential oils used in aromatherapy and fragrance creation.

Chemworld is not tied to any one supplier. We are free to source from any of the world’s top fragrance houses and essential oil suppliers. Our high volume requirement gives us the bargaining position to get world class quality fine fragrances at very competitive prices. This translates to savings we pass on to our customers. Our current supplies come from France, Germany, USA and Switzerland.

How long does a delivery take?

Orders are normally shipped within 24 hours upon confirmation of receipt of payment. Orders of blended products which will require processing will have a longer lead time.

Orders are delivered through our courier partners, with receipt expected within 2 – 7 days, depending on the destination in the Philippines.

How safe and secure is my credit card information with you?

Chemworld has no access to your credit card information. AsiaPay protects your credit card information with one of the best encryption software in the industry—the Secure Socket Layering (SSL). SSL ensures secure online commerce transactions and safe transmission of your personal information.

How do I pay for my online purchases?

To purchase your items using your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and JCB credit cards, select Asia Pay as your payment method.

To purchase using your ATM or GCash accounts, select WeePay as the payment method upon checkout.

Offline orders are also accepted with payment either through direct bank remittance or through ATM. Just send your order list to fragrancefactory@chemworld.ph and we will come back to you with an e-invoice with payment instructions. Please specify if you want to pay through direct bank remittance or through your ATM account.

Do you accept international orders?

Due to airline restrictions on shipment of alcohol and alcohol-based products, we regret we cannot ship internationally many of our products. Wholesale orders of packaging and other unrestricted items will be entertained. Please email your inquiry for US Dollar pricing and shipping charges to fragrancefactory@chemworld.ph.

How much is your delivery charge?

For Philippine destinations, we offer FREE shipping on orders over P10,000. Orders less than P10,000 will be charged a flat rate of P400 within Metro Manila and P500 for orders outside Metro Manila. Because of high cost of packing and shipping, we regret that we cannot deliver orders below P2,000.

Door to door deliveries to out of town Philippine addresses will be subject to surcharge. To avoid this, we will designate a pick up point for you which is usually the nearest office of the courier being used.

For international orders, separate courier charges are added based on order quantity and destination. Customs duty, value added tax or sales tax that may be imposed by the country of destination are not included in the product price.
