Starter Pack Started It All

My investment in the Starter Pack has gone a long way. Without any technical background, I am now able to make eau de toilette and eau de parfum.

I am a chemical engineer. My technical background provided the bias for me to go into the perfumery business.

My executive husband in a multinational company is my guru and partner as well in business. With him I explored strategies – to find out what would work best in this project. Networking was one option. But that was not for me.

I Lost My Job!

As the 2009 global crisis hit almost every industry, I thought I won’t be affected as I was a high-performer Internal Auditor in an IT company. To my surprise, one morning I was told I must go.

I am now back in Bacolod City, my home town. After the Starter Pack, I purchased more supplies para makagawa ako ng marami raming perfumes. Nasa trade na and kalahati, yung iba nabenta agad.

The ad in Entrepreneur Magazine struck me as something new to try out. So I joined the Fragrance Factory seminar and by golly . . . instantly have I become a “Certified Perfumer”! How easy it is to blend cologne as well as EDT and perfume.

How To Sell At Premium Price

35ml perfumes at P400. Yan po benta ko. Talaga!

Pano ko nagawa yun? Ang hanap ko ay yung mahilig sa originals.

Planning and hard work led me to them. I do side by side test of my perfume with what they are using. Nakangiti sila lagi pag nagdedemo ako. Siempre, pa charming din ako.

"By the way Maam, magkano po ba ang bili ninyo sa gamit ninyong pabango?" I would ask after demo. Sagot: "P4,000!" "Maam, may I offer you my perfume at 90% discount?" OK ang sagot siempre! Laki ng ngiti nila. Laki rin ng ngiti ko.:- )

Self-Supporting Na Ako Sa College!

Sir, self-supporting na po ako sa huling college year!

Six months ago, pagtapos ng seminar, bumili ako ng Starter Pack ng Chemworld. Pagkauwi sa gabi, nagblend agad ako ng eau de parfum at eau de toilette. Exciting talaga.

Unang customers ko - relatives and friends. Price ng 10ml ay P100. OK ang tubo, pero bitin sa volume. Sabi sa seminar, subukan gumamit ng sub-dealers. So, naghikayat ako ng kamaganak at kaibigan mag ahente. Presyo ko P65. Tubo nila P35. Dito napabilis ang benta. Puhunan ko kulang kulang sa P30 bawat bote.

Come this school opening, hindi nq ako hihingi ng allowance. Pero, sana di na singilin ni Daddy yong utang ko na pinangbayad sa Starter Pack at seminar fee.
