Chemworld Fragrance Factory President Awarded Outstanding Chemist
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recently conferred The 2011 Outstanding Chemist Award to Fred Reyes, the President & CEO of Chemworld Fragrance Factory, which provides complete perfumery supplies and trainings to hobbyists who want to start their own perfumery business. To date, Chemworld Fragrance Factory has trained over 6,000 would-be entrepreneurs in the perfume industry, in the process proving to many that chemistry can be fun, friendly and a money-making ally.
The multi-awarded chemist is also Chairman & CEO of SkinStation, a one-stop dermatology and spa clinic that provides top-of-the-line skincare products and treatments. Reyes has recently developed professional skincare products for SkinStation that combines natural ingredients and the latest in nano technology. He is the Chemist who formulated and introduced the active whitening ingredient Licorice extract to the Philippine market, years before multinationals also began using Licorice in their products.
PRC cited Reyes for his remarkable expertise and leadership in the industry, and for bringing honor to the profession as a previous recipient of the Outstanding Chemist in Industry Award, Most Admired Entrepreneur Award, IT Excellence for SME Award, and Most Outstanding Chemist Entrepreneur Award. He was also the recipient of the 2008 Achievement Award presented by the Philippine Federation of Chemistry Societies, and was hailed as one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Most Admired Entrepreneurs in 2007.
